Varitone for Bass 6 way Alpha rotary switch with Choke and knob Kellingsound

Description

This 6 way varitone will work in any bass that uses full sized pots. The shaft is long and American Standard in width same as a CTS pot. The first setting is bypass giving you your straight bass signal. Setting 2 gives you a punchy mid boost great for cutting through the mix on a bass solo. Three just takes off some of the highs leaving mids and bass. Four is a Mid scoop setting , Five is a .068 its has a very smooth glassy tone. 6 is what I call sub bass, This cuts out all the highs and mids and really lets low end signals come through really well on 5 or 4 string. All caps are high end audio film caps. All caps are running through a 2.5h choke these are no longer made I bought up the last available TL018 audio inductors my Varitone puts out more frequency that the normal TL021 they are only 1.5h  . I can supply a diagram for whatever kind of instrument you have. This just replaces the tone pot and is wired the same way. You can also wire this to an independent volume if you want. Items that have been soldered on are not returnable, please contact me if you have a problem once an item has been soldered. All pots and switches have been treated with a conductive lubricant to prevent moisture damage and crackle in the pots. I don't like to bore people with my life history but I have been playing guitar and bass for over 30 yrs.
